At ACL Lab – Patient Service Center, we welcome new and existing Advocate Health Care patients with a written order for a lab test from a provider. For your convenience, you can use the Get in line feature for lab services.

With the Get in line feature, you can come in right away or find a time for your child's lab work later today or tomorrow.
If you can’t find a time that meets your needs, you can also walk in for laboratory services. However, you may have a longer wait time since patients that use Get in line receive priority service.

 
At this location, patients must call 847-723-9530 to reserve a time for sweat chloride testing.

When your provider orders a specific lab test for your child, they’ll give you directions to prepare for the test, and many tests don’t require any special preparation. Some blood work and other medical tests require preparation, such as fasting. Ask your child’s pediatrician or nurse for any specific preparation you need to plan for prior to your child’s medical test.
