This appointment was via phone due to the coronavirus. Appreciated that Dr. Skaluba still had my appt with me during this difficult time. He thoroughly discussed my current health and plan going forward.

This was a telephone visit and many of this survey's questions did not include any suitable answer as an option. For example N/A should be an option for most questions. No office staff or receptionist was involved, however their help was very good when setting up the telephone visit.

Dr. Skaluba is one of the nicest, thorough, caring doctors I have encountered. In addition, he has long ago correctly diagnosed my condition & tweaked medication, thereby avoiding surgery. I'm in good hands with Dr. Skaluba.

Dr Skaluba was this time and has been in the past the most professional cardiologist a patient can have. He listens well and completely to anything I say and recommends next steps for me to pursue, when necessary. I have developed during this and previous visits the utmost confidence in him including the discussion of a fibrosis condition I have developed after July 1999 endarterectomy and an upcoming CT scan.

The good experience was perfect. I received answers to every question I had and he provided me with additional insights into what I can expect over the next couple of months. Dr. Skaluba is COOL.

Dr. Skaluba is a rare doctor. He LISTENS and discusses options with me. He is always concerned about the cost of drugs, etc. He spends as much time with me as we need; and, although he is very busy, I never feel rushed or leave feeling that I have questions or issues that have not be addressed. So grateful that Dr. Skaluba was able to get me and my wife in for a cardiac examination as a new patient, after the departure of Dr. Larkin from the practice. I was very disappointed that Dr. Skaluba blamed my primary care doctor for not sending the results of my recent blood test. Every year Dr. X office faxes Dr. Skaluba copies of my blood test (more than once) along with any other test results I may have. it seems your office has no method of securing faxes and adding them to the appropriate charts. Dr. Skaluba's nurse assured me she would contact Dr. X's office by phone that day to discuss this issue. she never did. I have seen Dr. Skaluba for 10 years and find him more than competent. unfortunately I found this visit most uncomfortable.

I enjoy my annual check up with Dr. Skaluba. He has a great personality and office manner about him. We really can talk openly and honestly to each other. I know he really cares about my health and ability to live a good life.

dr. Skaluba is very caring, definitely shows concern about overall health and control of my blood pressure and cholesterol,and triglycerides, he always answers my questions. I know he is extremely busy, but he spends the necessary time so when I leave his office I am confident about our plan of action.

I was looking for what possibilities there were for me to get on the list for and getting a heart transplant. I didn't really get an answer to this query.

I was there on 7/10/18 I had appointments with Pacemaker first at 2:00 pm which they took me at 2:00 took them 10 mins . then at 3:00 I had appointment with Dr. stan Skaluba they finally took me in room at 3:30 and doctor came 10 mins after . I love see this doctor hes spends time with me and answers all of my questions. and hes been good to me and my family . But the office is always very slow !!

Dr. Skaluba and staff are always excellent. Communication, personal-nature of conversations, expressions of care...all good!

My only complaint is that Advocate does not have access to other healthcare organizatuon's records (Edward/DuPage Medical), even though I've indicated that it is ok to share my records with Advocate.
