dr Tatara spent even more time with my dad than usual. He chatted with my dad about his work (from years ago) and dr T shared a bit about his fathers work. dr t is always very patient with my 98 year old father and gives good practical medical advice.

I did not want to go in to a doctor's office during the pandemic but my ears were very clogged with wax and I needed to have them irrigated. (it is something that I have had to do in the past and because of the situation, kept putting it off) I felt that all precautions were taken and I am glad that I went in to see Dr. Tatara.

Getting through to the office for appointment and for questions was impossible. I waited more than 1 HOUR & then left my # for call back which never came. Called next day & got someone in office. Apparently when office in Downers Grove forwards their phones. Call backs don't always happen.

I am very happy with Dr. Tatara - he has taken over for Dr. X who retired. The people working at desk very friendly & helpful.

It seems like healthcare has gotten away from the routine stuff when you go in for a visit. Doctors don't typically check for eyes ears nose and throat or listen to your chest unless you ask which is disappointing. I know it's time-consuming and I know in today's medical care that all takes extra time. But could that help prevent something or you might see the wax buildup in the ears of the elderly or see something in the throat that's coming on. So I find myself asking each time I come in for the doctor to check my chest. I have a heart problem.

Was squeezed into Dr. Tatara's schedule Sunday evening due to severe flu symptoms without difficulty - seen right on time. EVERYONE at office friendly & professional.

Nurse that we spoke to Sunday evening way EXCELLENT! Dr. Tatara knew my wife, medical history & expressed concerns & introductory if she exhibited flu symptoms.

There was no discrimination. How refreshing to have such a seasoned, thorough, thoughtful, understanding, & so qualified doctor to be an internist! We live in Chicago Land (Downer's Grove) but instead of feeling like big city felt small town visit with your doctor. He cares, non-judgmental, & great bed side manner.

This was my first visit as a new patient, and this doctor displayed all the qualities one would want in a health provider. He was friendly, seemed interested in me as a person as well as a patient, and discussed my health needs in a way I had no problem understanding. He was responsive to questions and made a point of assuring me that someone was always available for questions or urgent visits. All in all, he made me feel that I had made a good decision in choosing this doctor for my care.

I got a same day appointment with this doctor because my regular doctor was on vacation. I was impressed and grateful that I could see him that quickly.

Dr. Tatara got me in for an appointment, saving me a possible trip to the urgent care or ER. We saved on the cost, the wait, testing and Medicine Hat might have been prescribed at the ER.

We were thankful he called us and encouraged us to come in, and thankfully, correctly diagnosing the situation.

It was my annual physical exam and it went well.

Just fine. It was a check in to be sure that I needed the prescription meds that I was taking and was taking them appropriately. I appreciate that. I appreciate that Dr. T. doesn't "push" my meds and does talk with me about alternatives to medications and ways to keep a healthy lifestyle.

Good experience overall. I'm just disappointed that all providers have so little time to spend with their patients. Dr. T. is no exception either way. He has great patient attentiveness, and I appreciate him. I wish insurance allowed more time.
