Balocki is a good guy and I'm sure a good doctor.

This is my favorite doctor. He never rushes me out. Always addresses any concerns I have .

He was very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable with him.

I am a survivor of Multiple Myeloma, and my oncologist asked me to re-take all the childhood vaccines. My regular doctor could not do that. However, Dr Balocki was able and willing to do that. He is a great doctor!

Fantastic bedside manner, Dr. Balocki listens to what I am in the office for, and works with me to find a plan to best suit my needs. Very knowledgeable, very polite, very helpful.

Mine waas the initial visit with Dr. Balocki's Office... my prfevious retired a couple of months ago. I had been with him for more than 25 years. [Excellent]. Dr. X recommend Dr. Balocki as my new GP. I was scheduled easily and promptly... for a virtual appointment. Dr. B's staff-- is kind, patient and thoughtful. Dr. Balocki is very prepared, very interesetd in my health condition. Very understanding and thoughtful. We agreed to make some changes in medication. He suggested a consultation with a specialist--who was also extremely caring and knowledgable. I will see Dr. Balocki in another few months... and look forward to that next visit. He is a great asset to Advocate. Thank you!!!

Due to Covid-19 it was a virtual office visit. All things considered it was easy and went well.

This was a telephone visit in regards to COVID concerns & at the time being sick. I was so impressed and extremely grateful for the length of the call, education, concern for my health, and much appreciated personal talk. Dr. Balocki has been my PCP for 5 years and I could never transfer care; I would be lost. Thank you Advocate for allowing such an amazing doctor in my life.

Dr. Balocki has helped me turn around serious health concerns that were made known to me in November 2019. With his help and guidance I have managed to turn blood sugar and blood pressure issues from life threatening to normal levels.

I have appreciated Dr. Balocki's thoughtful and patient approach with me as a new health care provider. He has taken the time to get to know me, listen to my concerns and offer honest assessments and a plan of action to help me overcome serious health concerns.

Dr. Balocki was very personable and jovial. I am a technical person with knowledge of medical issues and he DID NOT dumb-down our discussions or answers to my questions - and I APPRECIATE his recognizing this without my asking for technical answers which he gave me.

I needed a new Primary Care Physician and very happy with Dr. Balocki.

My experience with the reception staff, nurse, and doctor were all very nice. This being the first visit, I actually enjoyed getting acquainted with my new medical team.

The reception staff was helpful for getting me signed in and filling out the visitation form. A friendly nurse took my temp and blood pressure. Then the doctor arrived for final testing and many questions about how i viewed my health and what he recommended to make it better for the future. On the way out, the reception staff answered my final question and printed out my after visit summary. I exited the building feeling very comfortable with my new doctor and his team.

It was a good experience for the need.

Went to my physical and had to wait one hour before getting in. Nurse was good. The doctor checked me out and I explained a few concerns I have about my health. He ordered a tetanus shot. Waited another 15 min. because he forgot to tell the nurse to give it to me.

After leaving the exam room and closing the sliding door I overheard Dr. Balocki mocking me saying "Oh, my elbow hurts, oh, my shoulder hurts... etc." He is very unprofessional and I will never see him again.

I really like Dr. J. Balocki. I don't like when I go to the dr. once a year though, I feel like I am being interrogated... My life... I take responsibility.

Wait time is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I waited more than an hour past the appointment time to see the dr. It was so long, the reception staff even noticed. The wait time for this dr is ALWAYS a minimum of 30-40 minutes past appointment time, but it's usually more than an hour. This needs to change!!!

He's like an old fashion doctor who takes the time to talk to you and doesn't rush you at all.

Dr. Balocki always takes the time needed to go through all our health concerns. He listens well and provides great information and support.

Dr Balocki was concerned about my health and called me at home at 9pm the day before my appointment.

My self & family have been seems him for years., unfortunately he is a dying practice today & doctors are told to but she's in & out as fast as they can: It's all about money not true care. & than is for all doctors specialists, dentist, eye doctors etc. & if you are Medicare in takes longer to get an appointment.

Dr. John Balocki is one of the most caring and sincere medical personnel I have ever known. The Wife and I have had John as our physician for 20 years. He is a credit to his profession. To be quite direct, many in the medical arts, I have found to be quite arrogant and condescending. Dr.Balocki and the people he surrounds himself with for staff, are the opposite of most medical people I have dealt with. Over the decades, every visit to see Dr. Balocki, a normal check up or a painful needed appointment, has been a helpful experience for Our Family.

Dr. Balocki always takes his time with his patients. He answers ALL questions and explains everthing in detail. He makes my visits with him very helpful and calming. That is why I don't mind the wait for him, as I know he gives everyone the same compassion. He is the BEST!!!

I love my dr., but the office doesn't seem to keep my medical records very well. Seems every year the same Q's are asked about my medical past.

waited for 2 hours after my appointment was scheduled in the waiting room before I saw my dr. this is the second time this has happened.

Dr Balocki has been my primary care physician for a decade. He has always been wonderful. Dr Warren has always been wonderful for my OBGYN needs. She is great at what she does and I am sad she's retiring.

Waited over an hour past my appointment time, no explanation nor updates given. Didn't get bloodwork ordered because the lb was too crowded and my appointment was so delayed due to doctor being so late.

This provider is great, but the wait times are bad. Not sure who is at fault. Maybe the time between appointments needs to be longer for a better cushion.

Dr Balocki is great - but who ever calls you back to give you results or answers a question is rude and very unprofessional. She doesn't look at test results as she tries to explain them to a patient.

Dr Balocki always make me feel he cares about me and my family members whom he also sees. That is what Family Medicine should be

I would recommend the dr. However, it usually takes an hour & a half to get done. I waited over an hour to see the dr. and I was asked to come in 15 minutes early.

my provider was kind but was not very communicative. He was very quiet and didn't ask many questions. He didn't offer many directions even though he was providing me with 2 referrals.

My appointment was at 3:40 and I did not see the doctor until past 5. The nurse said nothing about running so late and I was just stuck in the room. I understand the doctor can run late and once he saw me, he did not seem rushed to get through me. It just would have been nice for more communication or a phone call before I arrived to have me come in an hour later.

Balocki is thorough and pleasant to talk with. The wait time in the waiting room and in the exam room was very long.1/2 hour in the waiting room and 1/2 hour in the exam room.

Dr Balocki and his staff are awesome! they helped me with my medical issue in a timely manner. Because of this I was feeling better in a couple of days instead of weeks waiting for an appointment. Dr Balocki got me in the next day making room for meso I could be treated right away

I'm extremely satisfied with Dr. Balocki.

Very good doctor- the staff never calls with results from test done (last three times ).

Balocki knows his medicine; knows and understands people; has outstanding skills to share knowledge and interact with people.

Stopped quickly to provide new insurance card, asked for a referral and was seen by my doctor instead without an appointment. He was able to correct my problem and eliminated the need to see a specialist. Front desk, nurses and doctor were all great and helpful.

the only problem is wait times in exam room can be 45 minutes to an hour

I had to call to get an explanation of my blood results. pretty sure no one would have called me otherwise.
