I met Dr. Pollastrini just this year, 2020. I typically saw X. I like them all. Dr. Pollastrini listens well and asks the right questions, and genuinely works to understand and help & work with me on meds, etc. & next steps.

this was a phone appointment for an illness which is why many questions didn't apply PA and Dr were both very attentive and quick in responding to my request

nothing bad to say at all about Doctor the call center was a different experience. I had emphasized the urgency of my call and the call center staff was not listening. they wanted to schedule an appointment several days out when I had clearly stated I needed immediate care

The overall experience included talking with three people. A phone interviewer, a nurse, and then the doctor. I had explained to the phone interviewer that my concern was do to having an upper respiratory infection, and having been in contact with over 800 people. I thought it would be wise to be screened for Covid-29 due to the ongoing spread of the disease. The phone interviewer stated that it would be a good idea for me to come in, and scheduled an appointment for 2 hours later that day. I made similar notice to the nurse and to the doctor of my concern. It took some conversation with the doctor to find out that getting screened was never a possibility. I was told that my symptoms were inadequately severe for testing to be considered. The phone interviewer could have told me that and saved both my time and my money for that visit. My concern for those other people was never address. I am of the opinion that the phone interviewed job is to get people into the office so billing can occur. All three of the people I talked to asked the exact same panel of questions about my symptoms, and they all indicated or I saw them entering the answers into a computer. Is this redundancy to make it look like they are doing something?

I went to the "walk in clinic" provided in Algonquin at my doctors office. What a God sent to not have to go to ER where I would have waited for hours. I had symptoms of the flu. I was seen in 5 minutes and had the flu test that came back positive. I have MS and have a history of flu in 2018, which went into pneumonia and I was sick for 2 months. This time I received Tamiflu and an antibiotic and was well in a week. Thank you to Dr. John Pollastrini, who is not my regular doctor, but was kind, professional, listened to my story, and treated me appropriately. I am so grateful to him. Please tell him.
