My son was in a car accident on May 2, 2020. So the visit was about his head concussion and neck pain. She was very helpful.

My child has been very sick over the last year and we cannot get any answers or help - we always feel brushed off. My kids have been seeing this doctor for many years and we are now going to switch.
We could not love Dr. Arkema more than we do. We are sad our daughter is aging out of her practice.
The phone system can be quite frustrating. We wish we could dial directly to the practice.
I feel welcomed and comfortable that my baby is getting the best care here. If I feel uneasy about something they are very accommodating with my appt. and questions.

We waited for 40 minutes before doctor was able to see us. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!
Dr. Arkema is a good doctor and she very concern and very caring. She give my daughter good advance about health eating habit and be active.
It was a good experience. It did not seem rushed.
I don't like that I cannot schedule a follow up visit w/my doctor at this facility when I am leaving. For some reason all pediatric appointments have to be made over the phone and it is really annoying. I forget to make appointments if I have to call later on.

This provider has seen my child since he was 2 months old. She is great but sometimes she is hard to get to. It's hard to book an appointment with her.
dr. Arkema is very awesome, gives enough time to each of my child. just the nurse though was very rude and rough to my kids at the buffalo grove, I think it was almost time for her to leave and so she was in a rush to get everything done.. she was supposed to get a blood work on one of my daughter but didn't get it the 1st poke so we just told her to stop, she was not on focus anymore.
Thank you, Dr. Arkema, for the visit and your follow-up call was so much appreciated. I took X to LGH for his stitches and he is well and healed!...
It would be a better visit for the child and the doctor if more time was spent per patient. The rush in and out sucks! And most of the time is spent with the doctor on the computer.
The receptionists were very rude. They were talking amongst themselves not acknowledging me and when I finally said something they looked at me with a very unpleasant look which made me feel unwelcomed. As for the physician she was very cold, she didn't listen to my concerns and didn't let me explain to her what was happening with my child. I was very unhappy with that visit.

my only concern was having to wait in a long line of sick people to "check-in" for our check-up appointment. I wish there was a separate check in area for peds. our experience with dr arkema and her nurses was great!
Dr. Arkema is a good doctor that listens and explains things good.
This provider was genuinely concerned about my child's health and well being. She listened everything I had to say and did order all possible exams to solve my child's issues I have indicated my concern of my child's short stature. Dr. XX did not care. But this provider did. (She used to see my child.) I was glad to meet doctor who would take care of issues and concerns.
