There was a large amount of information shared that needs to be absorbed. I have a clearer view of what to expect and what is needed for a kidney transplant.
This was an annual visit with the kidney transplant team. The coordination of staff was NOT well planned.

Dr. Chhabra is the best doctor ever. She is compassionate, caring and listens to my health concerns. She works with me to understand my condition. She is one of the top notch doctors I have ever had. I will be writing a letter to the hospital so they know she is an amazing doctor.
This dr. is associated with the kidney transplant team. Whole team is wonderful. She always listens to what I have to say.
This was a one time visit to discuss kidney transplant and see if I qualify. I waited weeks for this appt., and saw a team of people. I felt it was a waste of time and money that my insurance had to pay. Why?? Because when I walked through those doors they know that they had a "cut off" of what their body mass index is, and that's how you qualify. I feel that my nephrologist knew this. I could have had an appt. somewhere else, and could have been on the IL transplant list by now. NOW I have to repeat this process.
Dr. Chhabra is a doll and a lovely physician - she sits and talks to her patients as if you were her best friend and is very calm, knowledgeable and understanding. I just LOVE her. She is an asset to your organization "Advocate."
