This doctor knows my history, watches my results and explains what the results mean-- and what is, and is not a concern. I feel I can discuss any issues with him that bother me. He responds promptly via My Chart. I believe he cares about my well-being.

Dr Blonsky is understanding and easy with which to speak.
Adam Blonsky is always friendly and upbeat. He is always familiar with my chart. We talk about the few things that bother me and about those things that are going well as I age. He knows that I regularly exercise and that I pay attention to my diet. We talk about meds and any tests that are coming up. I see another physician about my emotional issues.
Dr. Blonsky always takes the time to answer all my questions and concerns - he is encouraging and clearly knows the details of my various health issues. He provides perspective on my blood lab reports, and uses terms that are easy for me to understand. I consider him a friend, not just a "primary care doc". Strongly recommend him without hesitation to friends and family, especially in my age group!
I am always concerned about the return of PSA in my blood work - after 8 years of undetectable. Dr. Blonsky knows how to put an optimistic view on things, is very encouraging and supportive of my future. He is reassuring when answering my many questions. I always leave his office more up beat - and never feel rushed in getting answers to my questions.
Good, Dr. Blonsky knew exactly what it was, showed me exercises to try, and said it may require surgery if it got worse/painful.
Dr Blonsky takes the time to ask and answer any questions or concerns I may have.
Purpose of visit was for pre-op, according to state law. Everything about the experience was excellent and very satisfactory.
Dr. Blonsky, and the Dreyer staff, has always provided me with professional top notch service. He has listened to me and even done additional research based on my comments/questions. I have no reservations going to him.
The Advocate patient portal is terrible. Advocate should have adopted Dreyer's patient portal software instead of forcing Dreyer to change. I no longer have access to all my previous health history on the Advocate patient portal. I have heard others have experienced the same loss of medical history. To me this is like having my health history stolen from me. This is a failure of Advocate's IT administration to transfer the my health/medical data information from the Dreyer database into the Advocate patient portal database. I wonder if this could be an opportunity for someone to bring a class action lawsuit against Advocate.

Dr. Blonsky is an excellent Primary Care doctor, blessed to have him as our family Physician.
Since tow of my brothers passed away in less than a year, I had several concerns, Dr, Blonsky took the time to tak tome about them. My younger sister was diagnoised with IBM, unlike other doctors, Dr Blonsky was well versed on the diseased - I was impressed.
I have an excellent long term relationship with my provider. We understand one another very well and have good communication.
Appointment was for 12:45. I arrived at 12:47. In his notes he says the patient arrive late but we took the patient anyway. He began the discussion with me by telling me he was running late and I should get on with it. I told him my shoulder was hurting and that I thought I had a rotator cuff issue he simply asked me to stretch my arm above my head and then told me it was from overuse. It still hurts and I would've felt better if he would've at least touched it or examined it or attempted to to find out how much pain I was inMy inference is that advocates and gives these doctors a set amount of time and he rushed through so that he could check all the boxes that advocate requires. I did not feel any personal relationship with him I did have more to talk about. I intend to look for another provider

Visit went well. Needed to get another ultrasound to verify the initial untrasound findings from a different provider and Dr. sent order that day and I was able to make an oppointment for the second ultrasound for the very next day. I appreciated the quickness to get this done.

My provider is always upbeat, knowledgeable, and seems to understand my health situation. I don't have any particular illness or issues that need to be addressed that are uncommon to a man of my age. I believe my provider is fully knowledgeable and capable of helping me lead a healthy life.
My only criticism isn't with this provider--he is excellent! My criticism is with the difficulty of getting access to my own medical records. I have tried, repeatedly and unsuccessfully, to access documentation of procedures, illnesses, injuries, etc., for the past years that I've been with Advocate/Dreyer. Although Advocate/Dreyer hires excellent medical personnel (they really are excellent!), their technology department is substandard. I used to work in computer technology, so I know what the standards should be, and Advocate/Dreyer's technology is not up to standard. Patients should have easy access to all of their records with the same provider.

Phone follow up is pathetic: needed to identify myself four times with 1st person; needed to re-identify myself with 2nd person (transferred call). The need for self identification should be one time only including all transferred calls. Technology is quite capable to accommodate this, not so Advocate Medical Group.
I can to my primary about increasing my depression & anxiety medication. I am a cancer pt. He was very helpful. He increased my medication & told me to call with any problems or question. I was also educated about my options.
